19 years ago to this day, the world received a gift
conceived from a man and a woman, an angel was born
a complexion so enchanting, i can feel my own spirit lift
proving that a rose can exist... without the thorns
an image inspired by goddesses, and molded to perfection
a divine glow, which shines brighter than any star
eyes beat a soft tenderness that glimmers with affection
a tranquil voice and delicate touch, soothes any scar
never to mourn, whenever your warm smile is near
white pearls glistening, relieving the greatest pains
an escape to a world, unknown and untouched by fear
and your warm embrace melts the ice within my veins
but with time itself, you seem to have the biggest impact
for at moments, its as if he has stopped dead
mesmorizing symmetry, leaving all but the mind intact
gliding elegantly on waters no mortal could ever tread
nothing to gain, pieces seem to arrange in place
when your deep, vibrant eyes shimmer with hope
finding happiness i thought i'd forever chase
the melody of my life now harmonizes high notes

it may not be much, but i write you this poem
to remind you that others care, even if you feel all alone
an all-round good person, what more can i say
