It's not about fast talking, its about using your voice in place of an instrument, you ability to fill up 16, 24, 8 however many bars with your voice riding the rhythm. I dont enjoy watching girls shake their asses on tv, it saddens me because corporate amercia has seen the potential of hiphop to reach the masses of youth in america and have extorted it to make money. And, sorry to inform you but alot of "hip-hop masters" know how to play instruments. From Kanye West, to Dr. Dre to Timberland to J-dilla, to whoever. A very close friend of mine who is a hiphop producer and emcee has "mastered" at last count 10 different instruments. I dont anyone here going to your emo forums and telling you untalented the emo-punk bands are. How hard it is to imagine how garage bands can get so big. How most of them cant play more than 3 notes of music. How their ability to whine over the same 3 guitar riffs shouldnt be considered music . How being a white kid from suburbia who is mad because their parents didnt buy them a BMW for their 16th birthday doesnt qualify as hardships. No you dont see that do you. Well I'm sorry that MTV has been playing more Rap videos and you cant see the new Green Day video 6 times an hour now. I'm sorry when you turn on TRL you dont see the new SUM 41 video anymore. Please accept my apologies and go back to your own forums.
