iight..."In da morning"

i wake up to popz voice sayin "wake up", "get up"
i move slow on purpose so my joints can build up
same thang, new day, brush teeth and shower
come upstairs and get clothes and ask for sum dollars

i go get dressed, dat include puttin smell good on
makin private jokes to myself bout me wearin a thong
its maybe wrong to ask for doe when im holdin sum
dont eat nothin yet cuz my mind say im hungry for none

grab my phone, get bag, load my cash in my wallet
sit and watch tha news and laugh at tha alcoholics
get in tha ride, dad back out, runnin ova tha grass
like usual im thinkin bout how im gone spend my cash

we get yo my school bout eight and he drops me off
ask when i get outta school and then i lie at any cost
go in tha school where thangs change dependin on days
but besides dat, this is how i start off my regular days
