But listen to Mos Def primarily (IMO) if you want real conscious rap.
Jay-Z has a fair amount
Nas has a large amount, although he doesn't have as much as he and other people pretend.
Talib Kweli is good also, but I can't get over the fact that he has such a wack voice.
Common, but he fell off and is re-building currently.

Damn bruh...u really must not have listened to any of his albums and seen tha growth from Back for tha First time...to...Red Light District. Though he might not be the MOST conscious rapper in tha game, he is definitely conscious and the fact of the matter is those "self-centered" conscious rhymes actually have substance and to add to that, he is a TRUE LYRICIST, one of tha few in tha game.
