Two, you can follow the footsteps of the influential crowd of morons you grew up with, where being cool was in actuality degrading your self esteem while at the same time blaming society for the set back in life, that you alone created.

I once thought there were more frivolous paths then the above. In actuality I find it extremely difficult to believe that any other choice exists. You either move on from the pecimistic view points of the tunnel vision thinking you associated with as a younger person. Or, you realize that lifes too fucking short. At that point you begin to think: Why? After which you either fall into depression or create an answer to the question that hounds your daily rhetorical thought process. Insight into this important decision and NECESSARY step in the evolution from peon to master begins with answering that one detremental electric zap from brain to motor function to action and reaction. Relization of this new found knowledge illeviates the need for the metaphorical crutch I like to call the rest of the population. Thinking about the most successful people you have ever actually really known, how many of them felt it necessary to do what they felt important MORE then what you felt important at the time. For example: they choose to finish there midterm final paper while you went and fucked the girl/guy of your high school dreams. Two months later they've graduated and are attending some university while you're working part time and taking make up courses because you failed to make the gpa required to attend any college.

In short? Think ahead because in two days I'll be twenty years old, thats realistically 1/4 of my life. Gone. If you think procrastinating achievement for that moments pleasure is worth being on social security when you're 55 years old and still working at Save mart because that still isn't paying the bills. Then by all means forget you read this. If not? then this is what you need to do.

Take assertive action and take control of your life.

As i sit here,i agree with most of what you just said....i have to say some things though...there are two types of people, the ones who take action every time they have a good cognitive thought/plan/idea to put into action to better their lives, the ones who sit and think up all these great ideas but never act on them due to their own restrictions...biggest one being laziness/procrastination/lack of self worth..but mainly laziness holds these people back. Then the people who actually work hard to put these thoughts into action by any means neccessary to better their lives, who end up doing everything they've ever dreamed of and whatnot, big or small goals, you get the idea. The only way to ever really get what you want or do what you want, you have to act on it. There is always a way to do things or go places you've always wanted to. And that means being independent and not worrying about things you have no control over, and just going for "it" whatever 'it" is.....i'm the person that works hard for it..so yea, great thread man..1
