His verse had more emotion and feeling to it, which is good enough for the win right there alone, and I feel that he used better vocab or atleast did a good job with what he used. Imagery was great, and your verse had alot of depth to it. I was no doubt feeling it.
H-N-I-C, your verse lacked both vocab and emotion in my eyes. It seemed to plain, and came across to me as boring. Try upping your vocabulary a bit, and being a little more creative.
