Praying is the most retarded thing ever, though. Who gets off talking to somebody, or something, that you don't even know exists.

I've talked to mad Christians and they always be saying.. "Don't expect what you pray for to happen right away." Well then what the fuck is the point?

If you want to help the victims of the earthquake, then do it and quit making yourself feel like you're some great help for praying for them. How about you donate some money to a fund or something? The newly homeless people in California aren't going to give a shit that you prayed for them.
