Arrow Fightn Way Of Life

IP:

Feeling nothing, wanting more, I can’t explain it as I walk out the door.
I want more than anything to be taken seriously, more than anything
to love someone desirously.
Questions arise up in my head, thoughts like this will get me dead.
Not wanting to wish too far into the future, I keep em simple n light
to avoid a suture.
Loving to fight, hating to brood, got more bruises than tha times I lose.
I want to fight, want to punch, want to kick, wanna show em what I’m made of
The life a fighter is: train train train.
Work your opponent get in their brain.
Give them an edge, let their egos fly then when they don’t expect it, let them fall on the mat and cry to the sky.
K.Oed, out they go, one by one, they fall like snow
I love to fight, I love to spite, never having love, never feeling
emotions, does that mean I am above?
This way is all I know, so this is what I choose to show.
But every now and then on a lonely night I stop and think
will anybody love a fighter who can’t seem to light their own fire?
People are intimidated, the fighters in the ring are elimated.
I let them know I’m present graded, in fighting 101.
Jab to the right, kick to the stomach, feeling a stinging on my jaw
and somethin tugging
Then I feel a strange thing buggin
I can’t get it outta mah head, this might be my last fling
Might be my last night in this very ring
Jabbing harder, kickin faster, I go and go until I outlast her,
I’m a fighter, I can do this, I’m a survivor I can prove it.
I finally get my opponent exhausted and tired,
blood mixing with sweat, my body drained and wired.
I don’t know who will outlast, who will past out who will
be trash.
If I win tonight, it’ll be the last, I need another life, so I can
forget this ugly past.
I hear the groans and moans of the opposition
Wishin I could just be at home gettin some attention.
I see our blood on the mat, feel our heat as we combat.
I can’t believe I ever did this, but I did, now I have to
act.
I feel my second wind coming upon me
I hit her with an uppercut, strong and mighty
She falls like a noodle, spirly and wet.
She hits the mat with a thud, I know I’ve won this bet.
I go to the ref, he grabs my hand, my last time, my last stand
For now, its over, I might go back, busting my ass and
gettin beat by champs.
Home I finally go, knowing I’ve got another road to hoe.
