Listening through some generic speakers and subs thart are pretty clear:
The lyrics are them self are pretty good (considering that we don't know this dude so the personals don't conect 1/2 as hard) but the emotion coulda came up a little bit IMO. It picked up more toward the end of the verse. You need a pop filter (beause you've got a lot of boom on the vocals) and you need to compress your vocals so they're all the same volume instead of high in some spots and low in others. This may also have to do with the range you're at next to the mic, like far some times, then close others. The more even and consistant you can keep it, the better. I can't tell if it's you and the mic or the progrm you're using, but some light EQ work would def help and compressor for sure. This sounds like the silver RadioShack mic. has the identical traits.
