Pick a forum you want to mod, and post there heaps with good quality posts.
Its simple as that. Strobe picks mods on who posts the most in the forum and with the best quality posts who have been at the site for a long time.
You would get preference over a lot of people probably if you started posting a lot in a forum with no mod. Unless strobe hates you, he would eventually send you a PM asking you to mod.
