well...College is an investment...my mothers sees the money she spent as a "send off" to me in life...and I appreciate her for it...and it feels that way...
My mom is a blue collar worker. She works at the post office. But, they make good money. The problem is, people who work in blue collar jobs don't have much room for advancement. That's why she sees her investment as a good thing. Perhaps one day I'll be able to buy my mother a new house, car, mansion, whatever. It's not about that, but what parent would want their child to start off life in debt?
