The idea in that other thread was that in the battle threads people would put down a wager of RV money and whoever wins the battle, the money would automatically be transfered from the losers acount.

This is a much better yet simple way of betting on battles than the giant paragraph you wrote. :-/

This way it also involves everyone in the betting and not just vets that people would want to bet on.

Also, this system would thrive even more if the RV money is re-set and people were forced to bet in smaller amounts. Cause right now kids would just bet a billion dollers and not care. Whereas if the moneys re-set, they will have to bet in the hundreds to start off and then the better battlers would slowly make a lot of RV money.

Tell me this isnt better than the weird idea your putting forward?
