Knowledge and an education is VERY poorly supported in the black community. Why? Because of who are our "leaders" now, rap artists. And who are the most promoted and heavily succesful artists? It's not the music industry's fault though.
It doesn't take an IQ over 30 to see that there are only like, 100 or less, truly successful rap artists.
Why is the music industry getting blamed because the majority of black people can't get there shit together? "Well, our leaders.." It's all just a fucking excuse.
Everybody knows that a good education is pretty much a necessity in today's day and age, so fucking get one. Everybody WANTS things, like chains and gear and shit, but how many successful Americans would be willing to give in to those temptations so they can feel cool by putting rims on their car if they truly can't afford it?
It's not that fucking hard to understand.
The music industry affects people's lives.. Sure.
