I respect the fact that you stopped to think bout it before you all continued. It’s nice to hear the shoulda, coulda, woulda’s but it’s something you can’t “just put yourself in someone’s shoes” to understand it, the way many black people look upon it.

It’s not about who had it worse… both are just as bad, people died from both races. Therefore, the point of you mentioning this out the blue in this thread seems pointless to me..

And before anybody say anything bout me not knowing a slave personally.. I do, my Great Grandma was born into slavery and everytime i visit her i'm reminded when i feel the agony and pain filled in her house due to years and years of that shit (not all are from slavery but many are.) And to hear personal stories about her experiences is no joke. I thank God slavery ended when it did because I wouldn't wish that on nobody... and yes i know of the Holocaust stories as well, i had a good friend at my old high school that had ancestors who survived the Holocaust, but i will never be able to compare slavery to Holocaust. Because i'm not jewish and none of my ancestors were...
