questioning my existence... i played off of it and decided to answer it as well
"from the womb to the tomb questions of whom gave me life
being sick and being right all enhanced by a personal strife
the question of my existence came to me all in one night"
wit a flip of her hair she made her way down the stairs
today was the day and no she wasn't one to be scared
there was something on her heart and she just didn't know
so she took her coffee cup and made her way to the patio
she sat down and began to etch.. write a letter trying her best
"to this baby i hold in my stomach beneath my summer dress"
i write to you now, to answer the question from a timed distance
you will have your fathers persistence and probably my resistance
for real but the substance that led to your overall existence
the truth is and was that of a bottle of jack and my female essence
but it was more than that for you were conceived not for you but for me
because by this letter you know i wanted someone to love and agree
with .. by the first kiss i laid upon your forehead all i could see
was perfection and a reflection of what i wanted in me...crazy
i sit back stopping the letter from the information it holds
reading this now . falling back on her death she wasn't that old
questions of my existence still persist from that day for-ward
and it wasn't the question of me it was what i daily adored
a mothers love which was all held together by a powercord
she was young and still was victim to a mid age stroke
so my question of existence was answered early just to even the score
i don't believe is god no more than i believe in the hell beneath the sod
crazy how life works its ways with out ever letting anyone on
a sole ship taken from my existence that i persisted to know
was more than what i could handle .. overall it helped me grow
i know i could go on by the question simply can't be answered
question to my existence? i'll tell you when they find a cure for cancer
