Well, I learned nearly everything I know since my dad was a jewler and I managed a jewlry store for 4 years (till it burned down from a fire that spread from a neighboring building). I still kept up with it and inevitably learned which regions specialized in what metals and so on, so I got to know what I know. I did forget a shitload of it though (particularly the solder types and chemicals that follow). Sollee
