You need to stop speaking for everyone else. You're acting like everyone prefers rap over poetry --- wrong. A shit load of people hate rap because the shit is hypocritical. End of story, I've dismissed all your points and you can address none of mine, you only base off what you like and think that everyone else agrees.

Like you said, it's 'rhyming' with an attitude. And things that rhyme are basically a poem. The real 'attitude' of rap comes with people talking about a hood life they've never lived by making them seem like they're so strong and hardcore with their nasally little shit voices made better by voice masks and beats that are produced.
