I swear to god man.. I found out that if you want to reformat an XP machine, you need a windows 98 boot disk just to get into DOS without windows running.. Then you need to go to a windows 98 computer, copy a file called format.com from the windows directory and run that from a second disc in dos.
Which basically means, if you want to reformat an XP machine and you dont have a second computer with windows 98 installed and start up disk handy.............your fucked....
Man, when I had 98, all I had to do was go to start, shut down, it had the option right there to restart in dos, then all you had to do was type format c: .. and its all done.......no hassel... no nothing, simple as fuck.............
Why does XP have to be such an ass fuck when it comes to things as simple as reformatting........
