ok... before anyone starts on me for being in OYD and not really hearing too much about me...


MY quality sucks ass... but i been working on it... I'm new to making my own tracks...used to having an engineer to do all that for me so i can just focus on my rhymes...

I have plenty experience on a mic and i know when my shyt sounds off...

my confidence is off da meters when i'm focused and when kats try to front on my skills... just cuz i play around with text every now and then don't mean i can't spit flames on a mic... those are two totally different elements... anyone can write with attitude... but everyone can't flow with attitude and make it sound convincing.. i been there and done that already... now i'm all about satisfying myself

I gotta very good ear for picking stuff out that can be done better...

I'm my own worst critic... i've done joints in studios that i wasn't feeling and everyone else had to convince me that it was hot...

I ain't into all that gangbanging bullshyt so you'll never hear me rap about murdering someone unless it's lyrically... i choose substance over ignorance...

I know that some kats ain't gone feel me and i'm cool with that ...now with that said... i'm real critical of the shyt that i listen to... all that nelly shyt?...trash... master p and his crew?....trash... 50 cent? not feelin' ... but..... i will pick out the things that make them successful in what they do... like the music , for instance... they can't rhyme... but they always got some hot tracks to back them up...

I am a lyricist first and tend to believe that beats are secondary... or at least should be from a rapper's point of view... i value skills over what's popular

now as far as the crew?... there are some good kats out there that aren't in this crew... but as a crew, i chose OYD because of it's strong audio presence... i had the opportunity to get in an established crew but they didn't have what i was looking for... once my quality gets on point i'm pretty sure i'll be able to go toe to toe with anyone on this board... until then omma keep practicing my techniques and work on my weaknesses... even the kats that been around the ropes a while loses a step or two eventually...

i'm just tryna get my swagger back...werd....





oh ...and BTW.... OYD definitely has the best audio collective on THIS site... and i stress.... THIS site... if they didn't, i wouldn't have joined
