Eye Of The Beholder
Candles faintly flickering across the room
Red roses in bloom releasing their scent
As time went by beauty I could not deny
Luscious lips tremble over his dark skin
As million butterflies are fluttering within
Slowly sending shivers down my spine
By kindly kissing along my facial line
Such sensual shadows become one
Yet we have ended before we begun
Ferociously taken away from me
Locked up before we were free
Made by matters of the heart
But treacherously torn apart
Destroyed before we create
Between all love and hate
As shadow and light
Yet he’s able to excite
Depths of my sexual soul
Who loves me as a whole
But they do not understand
Why I’d take him as my man
How their stomachs are turned

I follow him as my one guiding star
On rough days we never marooned
