I think it depends what your reasons are for wanting the tests.

If you want them, so if anything isn't completely perfect you can prepare and still be good parents, then yeah, go for it.
If you want them, so if anything isn't going right you can abort the baby, then no, I don't think you should be testing.

That's just me, though.
