DUH...why do you think they worded it that way...cuz if most students think like u, they define defense as "fight back"...FIghting back is not defense...
retaliation is obvious...they're sayin defense because that's apparently how you all define it...as retaliate...
if someone starts to hit on me...my instincts initially would be to swing back...but most times, there are so many people around to break up a fight, that you EASILY, EASILY have the option of jus protecting ur face by putting ya hands up and hopin whoever it is doesn't beat da ugly off u...
If that person had a gun, wud u "fight back with a gun"...or wud u duck and dodge and do whats necessary to "protect" yaself...Exactly...Pride will get u NO WHERE in life....jus like it got that kid who pushed me in da face NO WHERE...he thought he was being "cool"...he's DEAD.
