I defend myself...with the goal being of stopping him from touching/hitting my person...
once I've successfully done that, then it's over...
I can press charges because he assaulted me...
I never said defending yourself was wrong...
I said in school they are justified because usually, there has been some type of escalation to that point and they can't always determine who truly "started it"...
Plus..fighting has no place in schools...think about it...people who have reputations for violence attract that
