compressed anger inside the mind of the confined,
blind to the oppurtunities that life provides,
imprisoned by the mental block he has built,]
an outer posture, shows confidence, but he contains inner guilt,
a tainted heart scarred by the prison bars,
that eradicate feelings as he writes poetry in the dark,
pours out anger and emotion, showerin the page with rage,
yearns for a new chance at life, education he wishes to obtain,
sees an arcade of colors, he wishes to play,
but light is shadowed as his darkness arrays,
military minded, confined, in the dreaded penitentiary,
he pleads and wishes to bury his guilty history,
controlled by the intrusive, obtrusive, guards who dont care atalll,
locked in hell, they patiently wait with guns for his fall,
strong built, and climb the impossible hills, a soldier reminicent,
the same three words play in his mind....."I am innocent"
