but the hurricanes and natural disasters usually happen to 3rd world countries which dont get any publicity in the us news
us media dont care if a city in africa gets flooded
thats why u dont hear about the other natural disasters
go to the "world" section of ur newspaper, i guarantee u'll see sumthin like:
### people killed in (bombing/natural disaster) in (3rd world country)
happens almost every day
