Textees do little joke bars which is cause they usually dont know their oponent very well, which is a big reason why text is so gay and wont help you elavate.. I said that text will help you elevate to being A BETTER TEXTEE.. Not a better rapper.. You said yourself you mainly learnt from writing in cyphers most likly from writing with people who had good multis and gave you better ideas of how to set up bars or whatever..

Textees elevate in bad ways dude.. Its not untill they pick up a mic and start making songs that they realise where their going wrong and some still dont realise thinking their text is actually going to make for ill raps... Which is a complete joke, but it happens. That dude said he used text to elevate, yes I was telling him that if he is serious about rap, get the fuck away from text and do audios.. What was implied and what I think you might of missed, is that if text is just a hobby, then by all means, stay doing ya thing.. But dont take on the mindframe that its going to make you an ill lyric writer in rap terms..
