Well, I just read one review that said it's better than "scream". Actually, a horror movie that follows a formula can NEVER be better than the original. Before scream, horror movies were still so oblivious to their own cliches, that they bordered on funny more than scary. It wasn't until "Scream" hit the screen in 1996 that teen-slasher flicks became self-irreverent and actually poked fun at their own cliches. That's why horror movies now have as many funny one-liners as an action flick, or even a comedy itself.
I plan to write a review for it tonight though.
