I just read the same thing over and over again.. then repeat it to myself a few times. Then, I move to the next point. Do the same thing, except after I repeat it, I repeat the point(s) I've already studied, so I won't have to go back and re read anything.

I don't know.. that's worked fine for me.. for 5 years.

I don't do drugs or any of that shit, and I've had to study massive amounts of shit in one night because I procrastinate. I just end up drinking like, 15 coke's when doing it.
