Ya It Recharges But You Need To Charge It Often.

And Ya, The More You Charge Something,
The More Used The Battery Becomes...
Eventually The Battery Will Die Out Completely And You'll Have To Replace It.

I Havent Had To Yet Though,
Cuz Im On My Second iPod And I Didnt Have The First For A Year.
