No, it's the sports players, it's the shows, and the media saying it's cool. If you said it wasn't cool on MTV for 5 years, dressing in baggy clothes and "bling" would be done.

People dressed in baggy clothes cuz it fit them, that's why. Then people started to act like it's cool to be poor, thus leading to the media agreeing, now we can't turn around until at least 3 generations say it is not cool. If you dress in baggy clothes, have your pants down past your waist, brag on your tracks, and wear flashy shoes and jewelry then in my eyes, you cause the problems you complain of.
