Buddy you have to distinguish a line between wishful idealistic thinking and the reality of the modern world.
Money is a requirement for survival, all people EVEN MUSIC ARTISTS need money to make a living to continue making the music they love making. Now stop bullshitting to everyone about "If I went mainstream I'd spark a revolution".. Take a dose of reality and realise the music industry is simply an opportunity to make money off talent.
The extent of money made is always a big consideration to people who actually rap for a living ( = not you )
