I 100% agree with this. I've been DL'n instrumentals for a while now, and I been using Juelz Santana style a lot. It's kinda crazy though, cause I try not to, but I listen to his music alot. And another thing I'ma add as a suggestion, try not to listen to too much of other rappers shit, once you start really making tracks, listen to your stuff more, so you can point out your own flaws and get better at them. Also if you listen to yourself more, you cant take on someone else's style. Just try not to listen to too much of one person. |
