Def a good way to gain experience in stage performance and they can give you exposure to an entent, but it really depends how good you are..
If you attend these things and your only decent, ofcouse beyond experience you wont gain a whole lot... But if you can seriously make people go nuts over your raps, style and how you carry yourself overall... Then its def a way to get some fans...
But you needa be doing a hell of a lot more than just hanging round open mic nights if you wanna actually get somewhere with rap.
