Your wrong about the skin color. Most racism is to do with differences in cultures and the way certain races think and act. This is why intergration is such a hard thing to achieve. Because there will always be one dominant race that will want everyone else to become like them.
And your right, in an ideal society, everyone would accept the differences between cultures and we wouldnt have these problems. However racism on a smaller scale cannot be abolished ever simply because its human nature to believe that we ourselves have a better idea and understanding on life than everyone else, therefore when we see another race doing something we think is inferior, it is just human nature to make fun of that.
Its like, when you see kids in the playground make fun of a fat kid. Think of that fat kid as another race. Now if there was a direct seperation existing within a school where half of the school was fat, and the other half was skinny. Ofcourse each would believe they were some how superior and therefore a form of tension labled as racism would exist.
I'll tell you right now. The only way we will truly get rid of racism, is if every single person on earth compleatly understood and respected every single race equally. This is ofcourse an impossibility. However, the real problem isnt racism on a smaller scale. Making fun of another race is simply humor and shouldnt be taken seriously.
Racism where one race wishes to destroy another race and force their opinions onto that race is where the true problem lies. And THAT form of racism is more or less dying already. Which is why your whole problem is only relating to your personal experience of people making fun of you because you find the black culture and way of life appealing and therefore wish to emulate that. Which isnt a very cool thing to do, thats simply conforming and becomming influenced by pop culture as opposed to being an individual and seeing the cool aspects of your own culture.
You will never exist in a world where you are accepted for attempting to emulate black culture when your not black. Thats obsurd and only idealistic from your own perspective.
However it is correct that everyone is the same. And white people who have grown up around black communitys are only learning to live through the same experiences and ideas presented to the culture you inhabit. But my advice to you, is to remember how this is seen to outsiders and instead attempt to understand and find a respect for your own culture instead of just trying to be like the one you've grown to know.........
In closing, racism can mean a few different things. Wishing to destroy another race because of its differences is wrong and is already being abolished from the world. However making fun of people for their differences will always exist and in some ways is only understandable human nature......
Live with it and accept it.
