Yeah, honestly, I think you can do a lot with the set-up you have. Little things here and there and
you specifically can definitely have pretty pin-point quality. Just remeber, I had a bottom of the barrel Radio Shack mic that after some heavy massaging, made my vocals sound crisper, sharper and more evenly compressed than a Shure SM58 (though that Shure in my hands would have brutalized the RS mic horribly), so no, your set up is definitely not being milked to it's fullest, lol. Even my current set-up is way under it's full abilities, so there's always more left in it - you can ALWAYS do more with what you have than you immediately realize. But you seem legitimately interested in bettering your sound and you're a pretty stand up guy so if there's something I can help with, hit me on AIM. Peace.
