He got big only cause nobody was there to shit on him for trynna be larger than his station in the industry.. Jay Z is just another reason why rap is in such a fucked up state right now..
I tell you right now.. If pac, biggie and even Big L were still alive, these type of cats WOULDNT even be getting all the attention their getting..
Now I understand you prolly like this dude cause you gave him a chance from way back and never looked at it from the perspective of what these type of rappers are doing to the industry.. And thats cool, music is subjective that way and everyone is entitled to their own opinion..
I just know for a fact that jay z aint a dope rapper and DEF aint worth the hype he gets...
