They are paid too much...too soon
If you look at the players here in D.C., they strut around like Superstars without having won an appreciable amount of games, let alone the Superbowl!
I say players' pay be based on performance throughout the season rather than stipended before through a contract. Maybe that way they'll play like their life depended on it.
The redskins is the HIGHEST PAID/RICHEST football team in the NFL...
That may be the problem.
