That problem up there's too easy.
the points are visual... no need to draw this problems:
the line connecting Q & R are the height (their x coordinates are both 2),
the line connecting P & R are the base (their y coordinates are both 3)
find the distance between P & R by counting the spaces between -2 and 2 which is 4.
find the distance between Q & R by counting the spaces between 5 and 3 which is 2.
.5 x 4 x 2 = .5 x 8 = 4
I didnt read the whole thread. This not on a Calculus level, this basic geometry. Calculus is something you can't even post on a board.
