Of course, we both have adopted a tiger woods approach. I know how to control my adrenline, but thats something that you cant learn by reading books. I remember when i was struggling to beat my uncle, who was the one to teach me golf, for years. I could hit it past him, i could hit it closer than him, but when it was all said and done, he would shoot a 77, and I would shoot a 79. Or he would shoot a 79, and i would shoot an 80. So when i finally realized how to beat him, i became a better, and smarter golfer. You have to play the course, not your opponents, when you look at it this way, it makes golf a whole lot easier. Some people may see a long par 5 and think, "I can reach it in two." I see a long par 5 and see trees on both sides, a sandtrap on the right of the fairway about 330 down. The green is elvated with a slight break from right to left. We have a 10 mile wind from left right. So I'm going with a 3 wood hitting a slight draw that will bore into the wind to the left of the fairway about 270. From there, i hit a 3 iron pass the trap on the right to give me a 130 knockdown pitching wedge to the hole to give me a straight uphill putt.
