I can honestly say that if dude killed someone in my family, I wouldn't want him to die. Not saying he did kill those individuals, but responding Mimesis' first post. And the majority of y'all probably haven't even heard of Tookie until some threads got posted up. So saying he not sorry and he'd say anything to get his ass off the hook = shit. Not everyone in prison claims to had "changed their life". Some dudes like it in prison believe it or not and those that get out don't know how to live like a regular citizen anymore. But anyways, dude co-founded Crips, so what. It's not like he still on the streets in 2005, dude is older and making children books for fucking sake.
Just cuz he started it doesn't mean he should die.
The six members that started the Ku Klux Klan were bored and wanted to create a secret club with the purposes of having fun, make mischief, and play pranks on the public. It started out non-violent. When it first started, there were no burning crosses, no lenching, etc. So if the original founders of KKK were A- still alive, B- in prison and about to get injected in less than 24 hours. I wouldn't say kill that fucker now just because they started something that's dangerous to this day. What people do now is their decision regardless of who the "leader" was... so if a KKK member killed someone now, are you gonna blame the founder from years ago?
Same goes for Crips in the millenium... if a crip kill someone, then you gonna point the finger at the founder?
That's crazy.
Everyone is quick to blame the founders and co- automatically like people don't have their individual decisions to make.
