Yeah, I got asthma too. Around Halloween of last year I contracted some Leukoplakia, a disease that 2/3 of the time evolves into cancer of the mouth. And that was back when I only smoked on like the weekends and such, still didn't stop me for about a year or so...probably 'cuz I beat it within a few weeks.
