^^The monkeys have developed anti bodies to fight the AIDS virus, but then again, even if they didn't, how do we know that they don't have AIDs, and we just can't tell? maybe it is like the bird flu and it used to be primarily animals, but mutated into a virus that affects humans. It isn't deadly in monkeys, but it is in humans.

Your asumption abotu the primates still completely cuts out evolution which is how a virus becomes so powerful. in order for a virus to live at all, it has to overcome the host or else it dies. Inorder for humans to have some evolved version of a primates virus would mean the primate was suffering fomr it for generations and was dying off from this virus for generations now. It would be an epidemic. Newsflash: it's not, nor has it ever been so humans getting it in paralell is impossible. Immunities are all encompasing. If primates had an immunity to AIDS, that means their bodies would have made AIDS extinct a long time ago.

Bird Flu is a completely seperate entity that should be kept seperate from AIDS. Then again, everything should be kept seperate from AIDS.
