If you gotta think about how you're gonna flow, then you're creating music the completely wrong way. You'll eventually get rediiculously bored of it and eventually stop completely. This is one of those things where I'm like "hmm...how do you teach someone to.." like "how do you teach someone to be creative?" or "how do you teach someone to feel the music, instead of hear it". You just gotta learn to take the science out of it and let the emotion of the beat it self write the track for you. The good news is that the tracks will literally start writing themselves at this point and the flow will be discovered as you write it. The bad news is not everyone can do this.

BTW, there's a huge difference between being "on beat" and having a "flow".
