Umm...as for what Trip is talkin about, sometimes opening a Beat in Cool Edit and Looking at the structures helps with identifying when the breaks are...

Honestly, sometimes I don't give a shit and will flow over the so-called break because the producer will screw it up BIG TIME...like, there's no identifiable end to the verse and start to the "break"...

Most beats start off either with 8 bars for the hook and then 16 verse

Some, however, start off 16 for a verse, then 8, then another 16

On the other hand, some beats have a few seconds for an intro, and then one of the aforementioned structures...U gotta use ur EAR and count the bars man


umm...as for this track...I liked the hook...

inter...u were cool...nothing major one way or the other

2nd cat sounded like a beginner

third cat was good


not a bad track...I wasn't so bothered by the violation of the beat's structure
