I don't think he mentioned that 'making quick money' means writing a book, editing over and over for months until it's perfect, going through the grueling publishing process where you tear your book apart and rewrite it AGAIN, then you rewrite it, then you get more people to read it, then you rewrite some more, then you publish it, and this is excluding the months it takes to get an agent if you plan on getting a good deal.
