agreed...Jesus (and the bible) clearly says to go forth and teach, encourage, bring others to Christ...
There are exceptions though...King Solomon says in the book of Proverbs that you should not attempt to rebuke (educate) a fool, simply because they'll scoff at you and mock you. Jesus also mentioned something similar to this in Matthews where he said, "Don't give that which is holy to the dogs." I think discretion should be used whenever ministering though. I could argue that Mimesis is the object to which those scriptures were referring. However, I can see some validity in his point. Now, he just needs to open his mind and realize things aren't always as they seem and that things aren't always black and white.
