thats actually only semi true, infact only a small bit of truth in it.
the main reason we do the hand thing is because its natural instinct to use your hands to help get your point across.... when u talk to sum1 pay attention, your hands move just as much as when u rap. its like ur using ur hands to try "act" out wat ur sayin abit betterand help create a picture..... it doesnt so much have anything to do with the music, because its something u do naturally just when ur talking... the swaying n moving ur shoulders e.t.c thing is down to the music and the vibe u feel from the beat.
so yes u was right in a sense, but also wrong in a sense.
