Scottie Pippan was considered the 2nd best player in the NBA when he was playing with Jordan in their first championship 3peat season. Stfu, you guys don't know anything about basketball, omfg it pisses me off. Wilt Chamberlain is NOT better then MJ. Back then, he was one of the few guys that size, and they didn't have set plays that they practiced on defense for hours straight. They didn't even have double teams. You think when Jordan made the move to point guard, and when was being defended by Stockton, if he went to the paint with no double teams everytime he wouldn't have scored 100 points? You wanna see what a modern day Wilt Chamberlain could do in this leagues era? Take a look at Shaq. Simple as that. kobe as good as MJ? Nah, Kobe better then MJ? Nah, remember, he was playing against the raptors, who have one of the worst records this season. And, when MJ stepped on the court, teams dedicated everything to stopping Jordan, all they cared about, regardless of winning or losing, was stopping Jordan, their whole game plan was stopping Jordan, that's all they had in mind, and he still torched them all. Kobe got Odom, Kobe got other dudes on his team, and they aint focusing their complete effort on stopping Kobe untill it was too late. And you guys think Jordan couldn't stop Kobe? Jordan was one of the best defenders of all time, just go die, stfu. Jordan would destroy Kobe in a one on one game, if he was still in his prime. The bulls were 72-11. They had the best record EVER in regular season. Even if the Lakers had Shaq back and Kobe and him were playing together and didn't hate anymore, the bulls would still hand them losses in a row, even if Shaq left, and Pippen left, the bulls would still take it. 5 time MVP, 13 time allstar. Iunno how many allstar mvps or scoring titles dude had. But f'real. KOBE AINT BETTER. Just stfu, and die. He came back out of retiremant, and won 3 straight championships, no one has ever done that, he left the game for 18 months and came back better then ever. He had dedication, and he sure as hell is a better person then Kobe. He was the ultimate athlete, polite, profesional, nice with kids, amazing smile, he was perfect for the cammera, people loved him, and he was great. Kobe will never have more dedication then him, Kobe will never be an embasador for the game like MJ was.
