Psssh...I believe in a higher being, but I think the Biblical God is born of ignorance. Jesus existed fo sho, and probably died, but I don't think the God depicted in the Bible is necessarily the right one. A higher being that made the people he rules but still wants them to praise him, and you must ask for forgiveness for every sin or Satan will take you in and torture you, even though logic defies the fact Satan would torture Satanists/criminals. I guess he's just 'evil incarnate', but still. I see the bible as a metaphor and a collection of stories to explain things formerly unknown at the time and the belief that the Bible is undeniably correct is an asinine concept that lead to the slaughter of thousands, I think probably millions. Maybe I'm possessed by Satan and maybe I'm just too young, but I think the whole 'not following God's word exactly will get you a passage to hell' thing is a bit stupid, and people who are in trouble search for a way out. They look for something they can believe in, so that they can feel like they can reach paradise as long as they followt he word of the bible.
Am I a heathen? Not for you to decide. I'm kind of losing faith, thinking that you may think life via Big Bang is impossible, but that time is eternal, and that means that there can be an infinite amount of universes having been created. A least one could've had the capacity to create human life in all the billions of galaxies in a single universe. Many things deny the fact that the Earth was created in the way of the Bible, so you shouldn't hold on to that concept either, but I doubt many people do. I still believe in God and what Jesus did, but the prospect of a higher being is increasingly less believable by the day, which saddens me. If there is no life after death, the thought is scary, but it's inevitable...
JESUS FORGIVE ME FOR MY SINS IF I'M WRONG. :\
