I mean look at the vet award in the awards forum.. 8 times out of 10, that award goes to pseudo vets that arnt even that good.. They just got a lot of friends on the forum and are generally well liked so people tell them they like their rhymes and vote for them when in reality their undeserving...........

Yeah, and I understand that, which is why I'd be getting 9 people, and only 9 people, to vote for each category. The people will differ depending on the kind of peice it is, but if I can get 5 or more people in each category who are not swayed by instant messengers and friends, then this could work. I need people who are honest and won't just vote for the people they think are good. I think I could find at least 5 people in each category who wouldn't be a queer about it.
And ^ that's the primary difference with my idea and RV Awards. ANYBODY can vote on the RV Awards, which, as stated in my original thread, leads to wrong peices getting in and people getting something they don't deserve. If I can take instant messengers out of the equation, I really think this could work out well. The key is going to be picking the right people to vote on the given categories, and I'll keep editing the list until I make sure that it's as honest as possible.
